Cornudella and 7c+ flash

no idea on the name, beautiful climbing however. Photo by Chris Flowers, Canon G11.

Watching Cornudella (the large town underneath Siurana and Monstant) explode into a major hub of outdoor sports is astonishing. Every time we're here, there seems to be more and more bikes, hill runners, climbers throughout the town. A buzz proliferates that can only enthuse, and that's before even going for walks, runs, climbs in the amazing scenery of the area.

It also says a lot when Prana flies in Olivia Hsu from Boulder to give a yoga class to the climbers in the local climbing shop.....

Climbed at the highest current crag in Margalef on our last day in the area, up near the church. Got all inspired after watching Naomi and Anna put in serious efforts on a route they were trying and without a warm-up flashed one of the awesome 7c+'s. It looked awesome and I didn't want to waste time floundering on the holds so gave it all and enjoyed the movement the whole way up. Had some info for the first 3 or so metres, and then it was into onsight mode. Beautiful climbing, technical powerful.
